The marathon route goes through 29 of Chicago’s neighbourhoods. These the party atmosphere in Northalsted between miles 7 and 9. Also look out for supportive locals and the mariachi bands in Pilsen around Mile 19 and the colorful lion dancers in Chinatown near Mile 21.
